Ideally located at the heart of the European District, the Realex project concerns the construction of an office tower of approximately 44,700 sqm, rising to 114 meters, for which the permits have already been obtained. In addition, Atenor has acquired two additional adjacent sites allowing to extend the site area.
In parallel, on 29 January 2021, OIB and Atenor signed a purchase agreement for the new Conference Centre put forward by Atenor as part of the Realex project. The new Conference Centre, which will eventually replace the current Borschette Centre, is planned to have a total surface area of 26,000 sqm. It will feature 29 adaptable meeting and conference rooms, an office space, a cafeteria, a creche, a restaurant and parking spaces for cars and bicycles.
Realex will set a new benchmark in spatial and energy efficiency, complying with the highest EU sustainability standards. This passive building aims at BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification
