Feronstrée 54
Féronstrée 54 developed by R&N Féronstrée and designed by Assar Architects and L’Atelier Architects is located a few steps away from the Meuse River in the city center of Liège, Belgium.
The 5-storey office project is being implemented in a former abandoned department store. The 1968 existing building being very deep, a newly built patio will allow office areas to take advantage of ample natural lighting. The refined thin existing concrete elements along the façade will be retained and a new recessed glass façade will be implemented.
The 18,676 sqm Féronstrée 54 project will offer 11,013 sqm of office area and 2,731 sqm of renovated retail area. Parking spaces will be provided in the basement for 116 cars, 15 motorbikes and 41 bicycles.
The combination of the thin concrete elements and the new recessed façade will lower the impact of the sun for a better comfort for the occupants. For sustainable reasons and to offer a better visual environment to the people working in the next-door office tower as well as to the people living the hills located nearby, Féronstrée 54 will benefit of a vast green roof.
