Chancellerie

This project is located in the very centre of Brussels, at the intersection of the Rue des Paroissiens, the Place Sainte Gudule, the Rue de la Chancellerie and the Rue des Colonies. It consists in reuniting and rearranging two distinct buildings, which underwent multiple transformations between 1902 (construction of the first original building) and 1992 (in depth renovation with total demolition of the existing floors and partial conservation of the historical façades).

The project is situated near the Central Station (‘Gare Centrale’) and near the new headquarters of BNP Paribas Fortis bank designed by SM be baumschlagereberle Styfhals & Partners Jaspers-Eyers Architects, not far from the ‘Palais des Congrès’ with a view on the Cathedral ‘Saints Michel & Gudule’.

The overall design seeks to meet both the new expectations of the real estate market and the post-Covid users’ requirements. We will aim at obtaining a BREEAM Excellent, a WELL and a Wiredscore certification.”
